The Problem!

The invention of the shipping container allowed the global trading network to expand at an explosive rate while at the same time offering consumers cheap and affordable goods. Every year thousand of containers come to North America from all over the world but with our trade imbalance most of those same containers sit rusting in ports and storage yards all over the country after their loads have been discharged at Wal-Mart and other retailers.
The containers due to their size and durability do not windup in landfill so when they sit and rust in ports not only are they an eyesore the rusting hulks easily corrode since they are usually stored next to the sea salt air.
The Solution

At Kam self-storage we are doing our part in trying to solve this problem. By recycling shipping containers not only are we offering a valuable service to the community we are limiting the impact storage containers would otherwise have by rusting while being exposed to the elements
We not only recycle otherwise hazardous shipping containers in a environmentally friendly way all the products we use are either recycled or otherwise designed to have the minimum ecological footprint, All products we supply for storage are recycled materials including cardboard packaging ect.
